Friday Fungus: didn't see the dryad though!
Pretty sure this is dryad's saddle (Polyporus squamosus) - although I'm happy to be corrected. We're told that you can make paper from these polypores although Grethic's adventures there were not entirely successful.
However it is more attractive than this darling:
No idea - other than it's a jelly fungus - what this is but somehow I doubt its edibility!
