Cullingworth nestles in Yorkshire's wonderful South Pennines where I once was the local councillor. These are my views - on politics, food, beer and the stupidity of those who want to tell me what to think or do. And a little on mushrooms.
The beach at Shellness on the Isle of Sheppey really is made up almost entirely of shells - unimaginable numbers of shells from a bewildering variety of sea creatures. It's good when places live up to their billing!
Including some places using terms that are now considered offensive but not when they were first named.
